Café Central 14, Rue Borgval - 1000 Bruxelles

Fripp & Eno's timeless electronic music classic No Pussyfooting played by the belgian guitarist Kobe Van Cauwenberghe !
On September 8th 1972, Robert Fripp brought his guitar and pedal board to Brian Eno's home studio. Using Eno's twin tape recorder/loop method set-up Fripp provided two takes - one for the background guitar loop and one for the foreground solos with Eno selectively manipulating which signals were committed to the final tape. The 21 minutes piece of music that resulted, The Heavenly Music Corporation became one of the most significant and influential pieces of electronic music ever recorded.

The french composer Guiraud Christov (Sub Rosa) will present his music with the guitarist Catherine Guesde under the name Saint Guinefort !
Born in Toulouse (south of France) mid-seventies, he lives between Brussels and Paris. His early works come from alternative rock, free jazz and harsh noise (Tellemake, 2 records on Angström Records). His more recent pieces mixed the beauty of the polyphonies of Ars Nova (XIVè century) and noise. This nonesuch hybridation creates a music easily recognizable, at the same time harmonious and deeply intense.
Christophe Guiraud composes for a few important ensembles and performers like Ictus, Ensemble 21, Sturm und Klang, Kwartludium, Musiques Nouvelles, Fractales, Stephane Ginsburgh, Tom Pauwels. Regularly invited at festivals Sonar, Le printemps de Septembre, Loop, Nuits du Beau Tas and Ars musica...
