FTRSND Lab: where Brussels' electronic music happens.

The Lab is packed with local music producers and electronic music addicts – we give them a shot. Expect cutting edge live performers. Today's electronic music is no more about pressing "play" and waving arms in the air: we expect live performers truly playing with their soul.

For this 16th edition we invite MacGray (live), Torc and resident Polarized.

Macgray had an early introduction to music, learning the flute throughout his childhood and later on the piano. After several years producing hiphop beats (ICON), he fell in electronic music when he received his first hardware synth. Macgray plays in a rock band (TOTM) and in an electronic music ensemble (Bétøn). After performing in prestigious venues in Belgium with his recent projects including Flagey, le Botanique, LeBrass and La Ferme du Biéreau, Macgray started his first solo project. Macgray produces tracks for other artists, movies and advertisements in a variety of genres from techno to ambient, from hip-hop to french pop.

Influenced by neoclassical, ambient and techno music, his first Solo LP, “Journey to the Dawn” will be released in October 2019

∇ Torc

Torc's DJ set is a mix of crunchy house and percussive techno, every now and then elevated by a beautiful melody and atmosphere. Playful, bold, pure!

Polarized is a DJ, producer and sound engineer from Brussels. He has joined FTRSND in the early stages and has organised several events for this collective. His music is a fusion of a cinematic universe, techno and ambient sounds.

Free entrance all night long
